Childhood Iowa Areas (ECIAs) receive funding from two different legislative appropriations, Health and Human Services and Education. The funds appropriated from the Health and Human Services appropriation are called “Early Childhood.” The funds appropriated from the Education appropriation are called “School Ready.”
